kaboodle x Hunting for George

check out our recent kitchen collaboration with home, design and lifestyle hub, Hunting for George!

Hunting for George is all about making your home awesome - a go-to source of inspiration. So it was no surprise that they delivered on the ‘awesome’ factor for their own kitchen and laundry make-over.  Let’s start in the kitchen - when considering the colour scheme for their heart of the home, it was a dark and moody palette that won out in the end.

“I selected Molasses V for the doors and panels and Black Pudding for the benchtops. These two worked really well together as the subtle texture and graphite nature of Black Pudding complemented the flat, matt black finish of the Molasses V.” – Lucy Glade-Wright

“We also ordered a piece of Vic Ash from the Kaboodle range so that we could add in some open shelving solutions. The timber being a natural material really helped to bring warmth to the design and the open shelving allowed me to bring some personality to the space by styling plants, cookbooks and vases.” – Lucy Glade-Wright

And then came the laundry! A cohesive connection between the laundry and kitchen was achieved with the continuation of the molasses v cabinetry and textured matt black pudding benchtop. For a touch of white, macaroon was chosen for the extra storage cabinets and wall cabinets for that added contrast.
