real life story: Francesca and Glenn kitchen and laundry renovation

Francesca and Glenn decided to update their kitchen and laundry and they couldn’t be happier with the result. They have a gorgeous space to look at and now enjoy cooking in.   

As you can see from the before shot, Francesca and Glenn’s kitchen was in need of some serious attention. Keeping the original layout, the couple decided to add more storage along the back wall of the kitchen, including drawer base cabinets as well as wall cabinets – you can never have enough storage!

“Using the kaboodle 3D planner was easy. We were working with a small area, so it was great to be able to use the 3D planner to play around with different layout and storage options.” – Francesca and Glenn.

Francesca and Glenn wanted to channel a country farmhouse aesthetic for their kitchen and laundry makeover. As such, they opted for our antique white doors and panels in the country profile, timber vic ash benchtops (get this look with our american oak option) and matt black cup handles to complete the look. They used the same colour palette and materials in both rooms, to create a cohesive look and feel throughout the home.

“We love the country profile doors and the detail they have added to the space, along with the timber benchtops – it helped us achieve the exact look we were after. We have a functional kitchen with lots of storage, is easy to use and looks pretty too – we are so happy.” Said Francesca and Glenn.
