Sometimes, it's not a completely run down kitchen that needs a revamp. Joanna and Leigh decided to liven up their once loved kitchen to create a brand new look and feel.
Joanna and Leigh's finished kitchen refresh before and after
The couple first purchased their existing kitchen from Bunnings Warehouse which meant they could reuse cabinets from their existing kitchen to reduce the cost of their refresh.
“I managed to convince Leigh that our entire open-plan space needed a refresh, so we started planning the new kitchen design and played with different colours and textures. It was great fun”, Joanna said.
They decided to stay with an all white kitchen, this time using an alpine profile to give their kitchen a bit of character and also picked out neutral tones and textures.
“The antique white doors we chose in the alpine profile gave our kitchen that modern-classic look”, Joanna expressed.
Once the new floorboards were installed, the couple began removing the old doors and panels. They then moved onto installing new pendant lights, repainting their walls and updating their kitchen handles with kaboodle matt black cups and knobs.
By making a few updates to their kitchen, they were able to completely transform their space! It also prompted them to refresh the entire space which made their kitchen shine.
“Our space glows and I Just love sitting at our breakfast bar, drinking my morning coffee.”
