Rebecca Ciorciari wanted to transform her kitchen into a timeless and open space!
Rebecca decided to update her original kitchen as it was 20 years old and was in much need of a facelift. After making the decision to renovate, she is so happy with the overall look and feel of the new kitchen and couldn’t be happier with the result!
“We wanted to really open up the space by removing the dated and dysfunctional benchtop configuration, which we did by creating a U-shaped kitchen. We also wanted the space to have a consistent flow, that integrated seamlessly with our open plan living area” said Rebecca.
For the cabinetry, Rebecca selected our silky white macaroon doors in the modern profile. “We wanted something white, bright and neutral. Something that will stand the test of time, and I think we certainly achieved this! The classic white tones and silk finish of the macaroon doors worked perfectly with the colour scheme of the rest of the home. We chose the modern profile doors as we wanted a classic, seamless look, and thought that a door with no profile would allow the benchtop to be the main feature”. For the surfaces, Rebecca chose our biancoccino benchtop. “We liked how it emulated a similar look to that of marble (without the maintenance and price tag of course)” – Rebecca.
Now that her new kitchen is installed, Rebecca’s kitchen feels more connected to the rest of the house, maximises space and makes cooking and gathering in the kitchen a dream! “We have extra storage and bench space for prepping meals and cooking. We love how open the space feels now and we love cooking in the kitchen” – Rebecca.
