when should you repair or lay your flooring?

Your kitchen floor is the foundation of your new space so it's definitely important to get any repair work right.

When should you repair or lay your flooring?

Repairing your flooring

We recommend that you repair any damaged flooring within your kitchen surrounds after you’ve installed your new kitchen. This way, you won’t further damage the existing flooring during the installation process.

Laying your flooring

Depending on the chosen surface, we recommend laying most of the work before you actually begin to install your new kitchen. It will be much easier to lay your tiles before installing your kitchen. Floorboards can also be laid and polished concrete can be poured, however, save the polishing until after your kitchen has been installed for a more pristine finish. You don’t want to damage the surface of the floorboards or concrete while installing your new kitchen.
