This bathroom budget renovation features clever tips to save you from knocking down your entire bathroom and starting from scratch!
The homeowners of this bathroom knew their space was in need of some tender loving care. When it came time to pack up their belongings and put their house on the market, their bathroom didn’t make the cut.
They toyed with the idea of knocking down their existing bathroom but in the end, they chose a more cost-effective way to rejuvenate their space!
They kicked things off by temporarily removing the existing cabinet doors and started painting. To add a bit of light into the room, a white colour scheme was chosen for the cabinet paint. All the existing plumbing fittings were replaced, brand new basins and a toilet were installed. To top things off, a kaboodle Vic Ash benchtop was installed to give the space a refreshing glow.
There are clever ways to take on a bathroom renovation and a small tweak to the existing elements of your space can really liven up the area. Before you decide to take on an entire bathroom renovation from scratch, alternatively consider replacing doors, painting existing doors, replacing fittings, replacing handles, painting existing handles, painting the room, updating the vanity or installing a new benchtop.
The total amount spent on this bathroom revamp was approximately $2,000. You’ll never believe how much the homeowners were quoted for a brand new bathroom…$30,000!
You could literally save thousands.
