This Melbourne home was in need of a kitchen make-over to breathe new life into the dated space.
Homeowners Margaret and Phil were on a mission to refresh the kitchen, maximise storage and lighten up the room, so that’s exactly what they did.
The couple didn't have a lot of time to dedicate to the project and wanted to get it done quickly, "Given our time constraints and need for a fast turnaround, we opted to buy products that were available off-the-shelf. It became clear very quickly that kaboodle’s modular range was perfect for us” Phil explained.
“Our existing u-shaped kitchen worked well in the space, so we decided to keep this layout but introduced more usable storage with a smarter use of cabinets" Margaret added.
The couple wanted to brighten up the room and chose a neutral colour scheme with a sense of warmth, utilising buttermilk cabinetry and Hevea timber benchtops. They also wanted to increase their storage, so they introduced more cabinets and a corner pantry to really make the most out of the space.
The couple is delighted with their new kitchen, “It looks and feels like a brand new space! It’s timeless and bright, and we have plenty of usable storage. We’re very happy with the end result” said Margaret.
